Engagement integrations
When a resident gets the information they need, Curia.IQ can invite them to stay connected. With permission, their communication preferences flow automatically into Curia.IQ's optional hosted SMS system and existing newsletter systems.
Optional by design
A resident engagement chatbot for local government can answer resident questions without collecting contact information. If you want to build a permission-based resident audience, you can enable Engagement Integrations and choose which channels, enrollment questions, and communication preferences to offer.
You determine which enrollment choices residents see, what information is requested, and where approved information is sent.
The resident journey
The invitation appears after Curia.IQ has resolved the resident's question, keeping public service first and enrollment optional.
Curia.IQ provides a source-backed response and gives the resident a direct link to the official information supporting the answer.
The resident can choose text messages, the email newsletter, both options, or neither. Nothing is transferred until the resident confirms.
With consent, the API sends the resident's information to Curia.IQ TextGov and/or your selected newsletter platform without requiring staff to enter it again.
